The IPSI BgD is unique in many aspects:

• IPSI Belgrade Ltd. is a company jointly founded by German and Serbian capital, formed in March 2003. Capital from USA and Japan was added later. Its primary field is the development of new technologies and software engineering in multimedia, visualization, information processing, management and representation, networking and intelligent Internet, but we also work in hardware engineering.
• IPSI Belgrade Ltd. is a result of the successful cooperation between the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Serbia and IPSI, Darmstadt, Germany, an institute in the Fraunhofer chain of institutes for the applied research and development.
• It combines knowledge, experience and good practice of professors and engineers.
